Cultural Diversity Training: Hiring, Training, Supervising, and Supporting Hispanic Employees This three-hour workshop is designed for managers, supervisors, and team leads who work with Hispanic employees. During this workshop, you will examine best practices for finding, attracting, and selecting successful culturally-diverse employees. You will discuss why traditional employee reviews may not work for Hispanic employees, and effective substitutions will be provided. You will discover how to keep nonexempt employees challenged and satisfied in the workplace, as well as how to nurture and empower your Hispanic workforce as you prepare them for management roles. Finally, you will explore nuances of direct vs. indirect communication and role-play communication styles that better fit with the Hispanic culture.

ECEC 1616 - ECE American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers - Recertification


This abbreviated AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) course for Healthcare Providers Recertification allows students to update their skills; refresh their memory on responding, assessing, and managing cardiac and respiratory emergencies using basic life support; and extend their certification by two years in an abbreviated course. This class is intended for healthcare providers and those who work in a healthcare setting who must have credentials documenting successful completion of a BLS class. Students participating in the refresher course must have a current AHA Basic Life Support card.
